Why Researchers Study Eloralintide

1. Receptor-selective amylin signalling. Earlier amylin analogs such as cagrilintide engage both amylin and calcitonin receptors. Eloralintide’s AMY1R selectivity lets researchers separate amylin-receptor effects from calcitonin-receptor effects in cell and animal models.

2. Tolerability mechanisms.
